After the last post where I wrote about how I don't know where to go, me and some friends decided to have dinner. First, we were going to a Thai restaurant in downtown; but as I was about to leave, they said to go to Hooters instead. The guys want to 'clean' their eyes by watching the sexy waitresses. So we went there, it was almost at Indianapolis.. just for dinner. I went to my friend's apartment and she said she wanted to drive. So she drove, but when we were just a few miles away, her car started to produce a weird sound and we decided to go back.. drive my car instead.
Three cars were going, and the other two were waiting for us some place. But later, I called them to ask them to just go; we can find our way there, so they went. Well maybe it's just my luck. I was only driving 80 mph.. and when we were almoooooooost there, a police car came and stopped me.. and the car in front of me too. I don't know how many times my friends drove to Indy much faster than me and never get caught and here I am, first time and get caught already. Now I truly agree that life is unfair. Forgot to mention too, that just like 30 minutes before the police came, my friend just asked me if I ever got a speeding ticket, and I said no.. I usually would touch the wood; but this time I didn't, since I thought it's just a stupid belief and it's hard to find a wood in the car anyway. Maybe that's the curse.
The police was a cocky one too.. how unlucky can I get. He stood besides my door and I rolled down my window. As far as I know, the police would ask something like "Do you know why I pull you over?" But he didn't ask me that nor did he tell me why. He only said "driver's license, car registration." Just my reflect to ask him "what's wrong?" I mean how stupid it is to hand someone something without knowing what it's for. He can't just assume I know right, although of course I knew the reason. Anyways he took my DL and car registration and said he'll be right back. It took him frickin' 20 mins or so. Wonder what took him so long. When he came back, he brought a white paper with him and told me that he could've given me a warning ticket if I were honest. I was like 'what the fuck." What do you mean I am not being honest? I still don't understand until now.. is it dishonest to ask 'what's wrong?' I mean we ought to know why you are wrong right? Well.. that's life. Cocky police.
Bad, bad choice to eat at Hooters. The food wasn't good some more!! Only ate chicken wings and the first one was bathed with tobasco sauce and now I got a stomachache. Damn. Nothing seems right. Tomorrow going to Indy again.. no mood to drive there.. hopefully my friend will drive. She's the one who wants to shop anyways. Better get some sleep now. 5 am already. Hope tomorrow will be a better day.

Quotes
"You just gotta do it," she said. "You just gotta get out there and seek those things out for yourself. Life is definitely a roller-coaster, it's an adventure and it's just all about how you participate in it, if you choose to participate in it, and about going out there and having a good time and good things come to you."
"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! "
