I called the court this morning to inquire about the speeding ticket. Didn't get to talk thoroughly with the person, because I was kinda in a rush.. the bus was coming when I talked to her. But I found out that I'll have to pay a fine of $112.50. That's a lot of money.. but actually less than what I estimated. I think I'll call the court again tomorrow. I wanna ask what options I have; the damn police mentioned about some kind of deferral program.. which I have no idea what that is. My friend told me that it's something like a driving school, but you don't have to do anything other than paying for it and your record would be clean again.
I need a clean driving record! I don't know if it's true, but from the website of the local county, it says that if you sped 25 mph above the posted speed limit, you'll get 4 points!! That's crazy. I thought it'll just be 1 oe 2 pts. Well, we'll see what the lady will tell me tomorrow. Wish me luck.
