Been thinking about trust and people lately and surprisingly, most other people are thinking about that too. Isn't is sad that we have to think about trusting people? Wouldn't it be a much better world where you can undoubtedly trust people? I like to think that way at times and generally, I will say I trust people. I trust those close friends around me. But on some unfortunate day, I can start doubting those trust. Why? I don't know, maybe just because of mood swings or maybe because it's just hard to trust someone who doesn't trust you. And this leads to my next point, selfishness. But anyway, it makes me very sad when I am in one of those days that I don't trust people. It feels cold and lonely. Feels like people just live in this world to satisfy their wants and needs and they may stampede all others with no guilt just to achieve their goals. That's what they call the dog eats dog world. Just what's the point of that?

Okay, the next thing is selfishness. I truly believe selfishness is a bad thing but on the other hand, I think selfishness is the nature of humans. Don't you think? Although we've been taught since Elementary School to "put forth public needs and individual needs later," but many times we still think about ourselves. I think everyone is basically selfish.. it's just to different extent. No denying here. Sometimes we just don't realize how selfish we are. Now that I know how selfish I can get many times, I am trying to change. It's not easy to change, but I am sure we can change if we try hard enough.

Blah, whatever it is, my spirit to write is gone now. I'll edit this entry later and one last thing before that so I don't forget, I also wonder why some people bring more impact to you than others and it's not a reciprocal thing.

Leave me your opinion/comments/disagreement/inputs if you have any.

Quotes
"You just gotta do it," she said. "You just gotta get out there and seek those things out for yourself. Life is definitely a roller-coaster, it's an adventure and it's just all about how you participate in it, if you choose to participate in it, and about going out there and having a good time and good things come to you."

"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that! "
